How to reach us

The venue is well connected to Munich’s Franz Josef Strauß Airport. For more details on flights to Munich please refer to www.munich-airport.com.

Shuttle buses to the exhibition grounds will be operating at regular intervals on all show days. Upon arrival at the airport, simply follow the signs to the shuttle bus stop. Tickets can be purchased directly on the bus and travel time is about 45 mins (depending on traffic).

The airport is also well conntected to Munich city centre by suburban trains (S-Bahn) and taxis.

By Train

As a hub for international train routes, Munich is connected directly to many European capitals via the rail network.

Visit the Deutsche Bahn website to enquire about connections and book tickets online.

The station for the exhibition grounds is "München Messestadt Ost", for Munich central station search for "München Hauptbahnhof".

By Car

There are plenty of parking spaces available for visitors. Please note that the entrance to ICE Europe is "Eingang Ost".

Munich Low Emission Zone

In 2008 a low emission zone was introduced in Munich. Only vehicles that fulfil the EU exhaust standards are permitted to enter the city centre and require an official permit (disc-shaped sticker) that must be displayed on every vehicle’s windshield. These regulations also apply to visitors from abroad.

The sticker is only required if you travel through the city centre (within the ring road ‘Mittlerer Ring’). The Munich Trade Fair Centre is NOT in the low emission zone.

The TÜV Nord website includes further information regarding the Low Emissions Zone as well as an order form to obtain an emissions sticker.

By Public Transport

You can reach the exhibition grounds quickly and easily via the local transport network.

For detailed information, including a journey planner, ticket prices and an app, please visit the website of MVV, the local transport provider.

The stop closest to the entrance for ICE Europe is "München, Messestadt Ost". Travel time from Munich central station to the exhibition grounds is about 25 minutes by U-Bahn (subway).

Please note: The U-Bahn will stop at "München, Messestadt West" first. Please remain on the train for one further stop until you arrive at "München, Messestadt Ost".
