The M,O,C, is situated in the north of Munich with excellent transport links that guarantee a convenient arrival for visitors and exhibitors.
By Plane
Munich is Germany’s second-biggest airport with superb continental and intercontinental air connections. For more details on flights to Munich please refer to www.munich-airport.de
Airport Shuttle
During the show’s opening hours shuttle buses are operating on the hour and at half hour intervals thereafter from the airport to the M,O,C, exhibition grounds. On arrival at the airport terminal, simply follow the signs to the shuttle-bus stop. Single: €6, Return: €10
By Car from the airport:
It’s only a 20 minute drive by car from the airport to the M,O,C,. Upon leaving the airport follow the sign posts to the autobahn A9 towards Munich. Leave the A9 at junction 79
‘München Freimann’ and turn right into ‘Heidemannstraße’.
After approximately 400m turn left into ‘Lilienstraße’; at the next set of traffic lights.
The exhibition halls are situated to your left.

By Public Transport from the airport:
The M,O,C can also be easily reached by public transport from the airport using the S-Bahn and underground.
From the airport to the M,O,C, you can choose between 2 routes:
Option 1 (S1, U6): Take the S-Bahn S1 from the airport to ‘Marienplatz’. There you change to the underground U6 (Fröttmaning / Garching-Forschungszentrum line) to ‘Kieferngarten’. From there it is a 5-minute walk to the M,O,C,.
Option 2 (S8, U6): Take the S-Bahn S8 from the airport to ‘Marienplatz’. There you change to the underground U6 (Fröttmaning / Garching-Forschungszentrum line) to ‘Kieferngarten’. From there it is about a 5-minute walk to the M,O,C,.
By Car
From the North: The M,O,C, is situated near the end of the A9 autobahn. Take exit 79 ‘München-Freimann’ and then turn right into ‘Heidemannstraße’. After approximately 400m turn left into ‘Lilienthalallee’ at the next set of traffic lights. The exhibition halls are situated to your left.
From the South, East or West: Take the Munich ring autobahn A99 until you are north of the city then take the A9 to ‘München’. After 5 minutes take exit 79 ‘München-Freimann’ and then turn right into ‘Heidemannstraße’. After approximately 400m turn left into ‘Lilienthalallee’ at the next set of traffic lights. The exhibition halls are situated to your left.
Low Emission Zone
On 1 October 2008 a low emission zone was introduced in Munich. Only vehicles that fulfill the EU exhaust standards are permitted to enter the city centre and require an official permit (disc-shaped sticker) that must be displayed on every vehicle’s windshield. These regulations also apply to visitors from abroad.
The sticker is only required if you travel through the city centre (within the ring road “Mittlerer Ring”).

By Train & Public Transport
Munich’s central train station has train connections to many major European cities and is only 20 minutes away by taxi or underground from the M,O,C,.
From Munich ‘Hauptbahnhof’ take the underground U1 (Mangfallplatz) to ‘Sendlinger Tor’ and then transfer to line U6 (Fröttmaning/Garching-Forschungszentrum) exiting at ‘Kieferngarten’. From there it is about a 5-minute walk to the M,O,C,.
