UNILUX: The first LED stobe specifically designed to meet OEMs’ needs and improved LED technology for quality control

Unilux, manufacturer of stroboscopes for inspection and quality control, will present two new technical innovations at ICE Europe 2019: With the LED 27, the company presents its first stroboscope specifically designed for the needs of OEMs. ‘Cross Light Inspection’ is Unilux's improved LED technology, which allows for the simultaneous use of bright and dark field illumination to detect flaws on product surfaces more effectively.

LED 27: the first stroboscope by Unilux, specifically designed to meet the needs of OEMs. This unit can be integrated seamlessly into OEM machines. It is the perfect combination of form and function, with an exceptionally bright illumination in a compact stroboscope. It runs on 24VDC machine power to eliminate the need for a separate 110/220V AC supply. This device also features the Smart Assist graphical user interface, which simplifies both operation and system configuration. To support international users, the system is currently offered in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. More to follow.

Cross Light Inspection: Good light contrast has always been essential to detect flaws on product surfaces. Until now, companies had to choose between bright field and dark field illumination. The latest developments in LED technology allow for flash timing to be controlled. This enables the simultaneous use of bright and dark field illumination. Surface imperfections become much more visible and the operator gets a deeper insight into the quality of the material - at full production speed. Cross Light Inspection requires different illumination setups, therefore, Unilux works on-site with the customer to achieve the best results.
